It is on my list to do, to find out how this tradition started. I know my Grandpa Jacobson grew up peppering eggs. It was my favorite tradition growing up and now it is my kids favorite tradition. (Cael calls it the crack game) Two people pick an egg and tap the ends together the person who's egg cracks looses. When one egg wins at least three rounds you can set it aside for the champion round. The last egg standing is the winner! Jake was our winner last year and Connor was the champion this year. We have an old rock floating around the family that my grandpa found one year that is the exact shape of an egg! It has been dyed and painted several times! People have been known to try using goose eggs as well! This year we went to Grandma & Grandpa Jacobson's after church for Easter dinner. My Grandma Jacobson and uncle Kevin were there as well. This is a tradition that will not "dye" easily!

FUN! We will have to try this! Does that mean you have to eat all the cracked eggs that same day?
