Mark's Fishing Trip to Rocky Point, Mexico

Mark was able to go on a fishing trip to Peurto Penasco, Mexico.  Mark and Brian Hall flew down to Flagstaff, AZ.  They met up with Mark's dad and brother and drove 6 hours across the Mexican border.  They chartered a boat and fished the Sea of Cortez for two days.  They caught around 500 fish and had a great time.

Trunk or Treat

We think Trunk or Treating is great!  The boys get to meet up with there friends and run around trick or treating.  Half the town seems to show up.  Mark and I can sit back and pass out candy and visit.  The boys are thrilled with their bags full of candy.
Mark took Connor and Jake pheasant hunting all day with my dad and Chase.  We rushed back to get our costumes on and light our Jack-o-lanterns.  It truly was a whirl wind.  I enjoyed the day with my mom and Cael and Gehrig.  We visited with grandma's and just relaxed.  It was a beautiful evening and was warm "ta boot".  We had a great day. (Notice the pumpkin on the far right.  After carving 3 pumpkins and realizing that Gehrig really didn't care if he had a pumpkin.  Mark asked if the boys wanted to carve the pumpkin by shooting it with the shot gun!  If you can imagine, they loved it and we had several comments.  We might carve all our pumpkins that way every year.)

Beautiful evening
Mom running around frantically
Hard as we tried we couldn't keep Gehrig out of the candy and he screamed at all the kids taking his candy!
Cael as Optimus Prime with great hopes of scaring everyone.
Connor as the Psycho Alien. (Sad that he is starting to feel to old to trick-or-treat.  He is so big that people give him a hard time and ask him if he is trick or treating.  Heck people he is only ten so lay off!)

Trick or Treat it's Halloween!

Halloween always seems to be a bit crazy, between volunteering at the school, getting pumpkins carved and delivered to each school's pumpkin patch before 8am.  Helping kids get dressed for the down town pumpkin walk, then picking pumpkins back up at the end of the day.  I don't know how my mother did it.  Jake couldn't find half of his costume so we searched the whole school to later find out he had left it at home.  He didn't want to wear the long pirate hair, because only girls have long hair.  Later that night we decided to go to a hay maze, where my boys tracked in pounds of mud to my newly detailed car! Hey and that was only the day before Halloween!

Freezing cold and still happy.

Cael Turn's 4 (from toddler to boy)

Four years old in my mind is a big turning point.  Leaving the toddler years behind and turning into a little boy.  We love Cael so much.  He is a happy, happy kid.  He doesn't fuss over the little things.  He is very observant and a very smart little boy.  He loves to learn and is starting to learn how to read.  He makes us laugh everyday.  He is very good to help me around the house and he loves to help cook.  He tells me at least 5 times a day that he loves me.  I love how in the morning he runs down stairs for his hug and if I forget to say good morning he tells me.  He is very athletic and he loves to play rough and wrestle.  Happy Birthday, Cael.  We love you.

Family Party

The Friend Party

Cael has been asking for months when his birthday is going to be here.  Finally the big day arrived!!  We had a couple of friends over in the morning for a small party.  Cael was a little bit of a stinker.  Showing off and running around the house and not listening to mom.  We all survived and the kids enjoyed painting pumpkins, making each other mummies, pin the face on the pumpkin and decorating cupcakes.  Mom took him and his brothers at 7:30am to get the H1N1 and flu shot.  He was so brave and didn't even cry.  Not nice to take a kid in for a shot on his birthday!
