Trunk or Treat

We think Trunk or Treating is great!  The boys get to meet up with there friends and run around trick or treating.  Half the town seems to show up.  Mark and I can sit back and pass out candy and visit.  The boys are thrilled with their bags full of candy.  

Mark took Connor and Jake pheasant hunting all day with my dad and Chase.  We rushed back to get our costumes on and light our Jack-o-lanterns.  It truly was a whirl wind.  I enjoyed the day with my mom and Cael and Gehrig.  We visited with grandma's and just relaxed.  It was a beautiful evening and was warm "ta boot".  We had a great day. (Notice the pumpkin on the far right.  After carving 3 pumpkins and realizing that Gehrig really didn't care if he had a pumpkin.  Mark asked if the boys wanted to carve the pumpkin by shooting it with the shot gun!  If you can imagine, they loved it and we had several comments.  We might carve all our pumpkins that way every year.)

Hard as we tried we couldn't keep Gehrig out of the candy and he screamed at all the kids taking his candy!

Connor as the Psycho Alien. (Sad that he is starting to feel to old to trick-or-treat.  He is so big that people give him a hard time and ask him if he is trick or treating.  Heck people he is only ten so lay off!)
