If you would have told Mark and I twelve years ago when we were first married that we would have four boys we would have never believed it! We feel so blessed to have four smart, healthy, full of life, no nonsense, funny, cute boys. [Yes, I am a bit biased] I love being a mom of all boys, even if they wear me out most days.

Star Valley Christmas
This is our ward's annual Christmas Party. The boys love it. In fact they had their homework, chores and snow clothes on faster then I knew was even possible. They were ready 30 minutes before it was time to go. They jumped out of the car before it had stopped moving!! Jake couldn't decide whether to go for the sled first or the donuts! (Tough choice). Cael would not get off the hay wagon. (I think he about fell asleep). They chain a old conveyor belt to the back of the wagon and the kids love it. One week till Christmas and the kids are bouncing off the walls!!

Gehrig Dean's rough start
Gehrig and I had a bad Monday! We both gave dad quite a scare. In fact I am quite surprised all three of us didn't end up in the hospital. We had a hard time with my epidural. My blood pressure ended up dropping to 65/37 and I started shacking and my eyes rolled back in my head and I passed out. Mark thought I died. Luckily not. They had to take me totally off the epidural and try to give it to me really slow. It never really worked and I was sure Gehrig's head was the size of a basketball. So I was pleasantly surprised when I saw him and it was a normal sized head. He was face first and the cord was wrapped around him. We finally got him here and thought all is well until we heard his cries that sounded more like gargling and choking. They rushed him off to the NICU. Mark follow and watched Gehrig turning blue and them sucking tons of junk out of the little guy. Mark came back my room pale as a ghost wondering if Gehrig was going to make it. His lung x-rays looked horrible both lungs were full of crap. He is doing well now . The doctors are amazed at the rate of his recovery. They had to in abate him and now he is only on the nasal cannula. He still has a NG (feeding tube) but he did start to breast feed today. He latched right on. They had to keep him sedated because he is such a fighter. They started to lift the sedation today and he is doing awesome. The boys are dying to see pictures of him, they were very disappointed that they couldn't hold or see him. I will update you more soon I am in a hurry right now!

You are all updated now and I hope to keep it that way!

Linnea and Chemene I am blogging because of you! I know what it feels like to live away from family and trying to keep in touch. I hope I can keep up with it! Here are a few more miscellaneous pictures of our summer! Cael had to get stiches, he didn't even cry, infact he fell asleep on the ER table!! We had a great time at Bryce Canyon, thank heavens for a swimming pool to clean off! We couldn't get Cael off his motorcycle this summer. Best $15 dollar investment I've made!
