The boys earned 53 dollars digging up 108 lbs of Dyers Wode. They used their money to buy fireworks and put on a firework show for their Great Grandma Williams and others staying in the nursing home. I was so proud of them. They loved it.

Lagoon!
First thing! Gehrig ran in and the fountains all turned on and caught him off guard. Luckily Chase was there to save the day. Chase did pretty good, it was hot!
We threw Gehrig on several scary rides for his age. One minute he would be laughing the next crying!
Chase got the worst of Rattlesnake Rapids!
Gehrigs favorite ride
Grandma went crazy with all the kids!

USU Basketball Camp
It is hard to start cutting those apron strings. Connor went to a USU basketball camp with his friend Kellan. He was gone for 3 days and 2 nights! It is the first time any of my kids have been away from home without family. It is a good thing he finally called me at 10:30pm the first night. I just wanted to make sure he made it there and was doing ok.
He had a good time and learned a lot.
I had to throw this in. This is my view from my rear view mirror. We have had one of the craziest summers ever. Between camps, swim lessons, baseball, all-stars, fishing trips, girls camp, Lagoon, Seven Peaks, picking Dyers Wode, Chase's surgery, 1/2 marathon, football camps, scout camps, scouts, Bear Lake with friends and the 4th of July (I am sure I forgot several things) What are we going to do when our last one is Jake's age??? Oh man, I can't go there right now. I love those lazy days of summer. HA, HA.

Kammi's Half Marathon
Kammi made a goal back in January to run a half marathon in Bear Lake (13.1 miles). She convinced 5-6 other friends and co-workers to join her. But after injuries and drop outs, Kammi and Andrea Draney were the only two to run. This picture was taken just minutes after they crossed the finish line, I cant believe that they are still smiling.
The boys were so excited to watch their mom race, Cael asked at least 100 times, is mom going to win the race? We sat at the finish line so we could watch her cross. I heard the boys tell her several times that they were proud of her. To be honest I think that they were pretty impressed that their mom could run so far.
Crossing the line with a smile on her face!
Go mom!
Kammi's race started at Cisco Beach on the east side of Bear Lake and went all the way to Garden City in temperatures in the 40's. She finished the race in 2 hours 45 minutes without walking even once. We think she is pretty awesome, and we are so proud of her for sticking to her goals.

Seven Peaks!
We promised the boys a trip to Seven Peaks if they got their Honors in school this year. They both worked super hard and read a ton of books! It has been so rainy and cold in Star Valley that I didn't think we would luck out and get a warm day. I was luckily wrong it was 87 degrees and the perfect day for a water park. The boys loved the wave pool. Jake spent hours snorkeling with a snorkel he bought. Cael & Jake loved the Dark Cave tube slide. Connor and his cousin Statyn hit almost every slide. We had a great day and most of Mark's family came.
There is no place like shade!
We wore Gehrig right out. He fell alseep on aunt Amber on a tube in the wave pool. So nice to find some sunshine!

Sneak Peek into the MTC
There are not to many boys out there who are lucky enough to have a grandpa that works at the MTC. We got to go have lunch with grandpa on Friday. He has a very nice office. And everyone loved seeing little kids in the MTC. Missionaries were giving them high fives and I think they really enjoyed their tour of the MTC. As you can see below Cael really, really enjoyed his lunch! Fudgesicles, hamburger and ketchup and mmmmm the chocolate milk. Did any make it in his mouth?? I don't think much.
Lots of white shirts. What a unique place.

Uncle Chase We Love You!
Chase came over to help us 5 days before his brain surgery. Mark has a very sore elbow he is trying to heal and so Chase came over to help us get forms put in so we can pour cement for a basketball court. Just as I was typing this I recieved word that they have removed all of Chase's tumor there were no surprises and he will be out of surgery in an hour and a half after they reconstruct his sinus. Prayers have been answered and more will be said for a speedy recovery. We couldn't ask for a better uncle. The boys adore him. Chase is always willing to play with them and make sure they are having fun.
Gehrig loves Chase's big, loud truck. He cried as Chase pulled away because he wanted a ride. Mom cried because I was worried about her baby brothers upcoming surgery and hope everything goes well.
